Ingredients
- 6 chicken breasts boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 onion chopped
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 11 ounces cream of chicken soup 1 – 10.75 ounce can
- 11 ounces cream of mushroom soup 1 – 10.75 ounce can
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup chopped sun-dried tomatoes packed in oil, drained
- 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese grated
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano dried
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 Crispy bacon strips crumbled, for garnish
- fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Brown the Chicken: Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Cook chicken breasts for 5-7 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
- Sauté Vegetables: In the same skillet, sauté onion and garlic until softened, about 5 minutes.
- Combine Ingredients: Add cream of chicken soup, cream of mushroom soup, chicken broth, heavy cream, sun-dried tomatoes, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, and oregano to the skillet. Stir to combine.
- Simmer: Return chicken breasts to the skillet. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through and sauce has thickened.
